And when I say home, because I understand it’s a little confusing these days, I mean Vancouver!
I arrived on Saturday morning and it feels so nice to be back.
After my 3 months hiatus, it’s nice to not move on, but move forward.
My first night back, I met up with my best friend Andy! Oh gosh how I missed that face.
We went for sushi which I didn’t take a picture of, but it was lovely.
Sunday, I got right back into my usual routine and headed to spin with Corinna. A 1 hour weekender class at Eastwood and oh lawd… a doozy after eating nothing but Christmas cookies for the last 2 months.
Anyway, after that, we headed across to street to Pure Bread bakery.
Two words: LIFE CHANGING.
Swoon. And not a good idea for my waste line. However, they serve Stumptown Coffee and that’s always good in my books.
Sunday evening, I headed to Yoga on Ice at Rogers Arena.
What’s that you ask? Yoga with Alex Burrows, Shawn Matthias, and a few other Canucks. I don’t actually watch hockey, so I couldn’t recognize these guys walking down the street, but it was really fun to do yoga with them!

Fast forward a few days and we’re onto Tuesday. I’ve been making coffee in this contraption:
I make it wrong every single day. WAY too strong. I always have to add water. One day, I’ll get it right
Tuesday night I went to Distrikt with Andy for a Crush Hush class.
Oh hot damn, this class. First portion is a solid workout where you feel absolutely gassed. Second portion is yoga – thank the lawd.
I am unbelievably sore today. But that’s what we want right?
